Weekend tower crane installation requires temporary detours and out-of-hours works on George Street

On Saturday 2 November 2019, a temporary road closure will be required along George Street between Charlotte and Margaret streets for heavy equipment installation.  

When:

From 4am to 8pm Saturday 2 November 2019, tower crane installation at the Queen’s Wharf site will occur. In the event of unfavourable weather or site conditions, works will occur the following weekend.

Where:

George Street will be closed to through traffic between Margaret Street and Charlotte Street. Detours will be in place for both southbound and northbound traffic.

What to expect:

Detour signage and traffic control will be in place to safely direct motorists and pedestrians.

Traffic impacts:
