Destination Brisbane Consortium will always put first the health, safety and welfare of its employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and the general public.

- Providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees, contractors, subcontractors and visitors.
- Ensuring regular consultation with our employees to make sure safety is a priority.
- Taking appropriate actions to review and improve occupational health and safety performance.

Our employees, contractors, subcontractors, the state government and other stakeholders are actively encouraged to learn from each other’s experiences and share best practice.
Managing principal contractors and subcontractors
Destination Brisbane Consortium will appoint reputable principal contractors to undertake construction, in accordance with a workplace health and safety management plan.
Safety statistic reporting and auditing measures will be used to ensure all principal contractors remain compliant during their contract.
Principal contractors will be responsible for ensuring systems are in place to monitor and review any subcontractors’ performance and compliance with health and safety obligations.
